Summary: Dr. Alexopoulos has conducted studies on treatments for patients with unmet needs, including low income depressed, disabled, home-bound patients, depressed stroke victims, depressed patients with severe chronic COPD, and depressed patients with executive dysfunction. He has been one of the first to use neurobiological models to streamline behavioral interventions so that they can be broadly used by community therapists.
